Since the summer of 2007, we, Rinette de Jong and Alexander Sluijmer, have lived in Het Schepershoes.

Rinette is the hostess and is regularly assisted by Alexander. In addition to her work as a professional executor and living will executor, Rinette enjoys welcoming guests. Alexander has been retired since 2026 but spends much of his time working in the garden.

During one of our vacations in England, we came up with the idea of setting up guest rooms in our farmhouse. In the spring of 2013, the B&B accommodation was realized.

We believe that guest quality and satisfaction are more important than room occupancy rates. And we also enjoy taking vacations ourselves. That's why the B&B is not open year-round. Het Schepershoes may not be the cheapest B&B in the region, but most guests rate their stay with a 9 or higher. And that's what we do it for!
